BWCC has been running a successful Women and Girls section for over 10 years now. We offer county level coaching from girls aged 6-17 through Allstars, Dynamos and BCB cricket and then for Women of all ages.

Our younger girls are entered into a Girls only league & cup within the BCB framework and our older girls play in the BCB boys league against lower aged boys.

Our Women’s team is entered into the Home Counites Women’s league and plays at a high level against other teams in Oxfordshire & Hertfordshire.

When the section was started, we had just 1 team and now in 2022 we have over 50 registered players across the age groups and growing.

A Majority of the girls & Women who play are within the Bucks Player Pathway and the club has a strong history of producing County players with the club consistently having more players in the county women’s team than any other club in Bucks. 

All 3 of the current coaches have significant years of experience and work with the Bucks Pathway and we are currently expanding our coaching team with older girls taking coaching badges & getting involved with helping bring through the next generation of players. 

In 2016 we won the annual Brian Johnson Spirit of Cricket Award and we’ve won the Bucks Lady Taverners Club competition at U11 & 13 on numerous occasions.

All our teams play hard ball cricket however both Dynamos & All Stars are still soft ball and are a great starting point for those looking to get involved in cricket at an early age.

We are a fully inclusive club, Clubmark registered and welcoming to all new members.
